Immortals Welcomes Brian Jung, VP, Creative & Brand and Steven Graciano, VP, Marketing


LOS ANGELES – Oct. 16,2017 – Global esports organization Immortals, which has raised strategic investment from AEG, Lionsgate, the Milken Family, Steve Kaplan, CrossCut Ventures and a number of LA tech and media executives including Brian Lee, Linkin Park, and Dennis Phelps from IVP, announced today that the company has hired Brian Jung and Steven Graciano as VP of Creative & Brand and VP of Marketing, respectively. Jung and Graciano will both report to Ari Segal, Immortals President & COO.  

“We’ve made two senior hires in Brian and Steven that we think will materially enhance our creative, communications, brand building and development, and marketing infrastructure, as well as establish an event strategy and execution capability,” said Segal. Immortals CEO Noah Whinston added, “Brian and Steven are a powerful duo that together bring a combination of endemic and non-endemic knowledge and expertise to Immortals. We look forward to leveraging that diversity to create differentiated, meaningful content and to deliver more value for our fans and partners.” Jung will oversee Immortals’ in-house creative and production services as well as merchandise and design. Graciano will oversee digital and social media, collegiate programming, PR and communications, and events.      

Jung is a former professional player who competed in COD4, America’s Army, Rainbow Six, and Vainglory, and was a well-known streamer. Outside of competitive gaming, Brian was recently Executive Creative Director who spent the last 15 years working for global advertising agencies including TBWA, DDB, Publicis, LoweProfero, R/GA and iris Worldwide across 8 different markets spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. He has worked on large scale integrated advertising campaigns distributed across multiple channels, from TV to digital to print, for major global brands such as Apple, Johnnie Walker, Samsung, Levi’s, Google, Adidas, and Heineken. He has judged at AdFest, and won awards at Cannes, Spikes, and AdFest, including Campaign’s Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year.

Graciano most recently served as Vice President of Marketing at the NFL Network where he oversaw consumer and affiliate marketing. During the 2016 NFL season, he helped make the network, for the first time ever, the 2nd most watched sports network in the United States. Additionally, during his time at NFL Network, key network properties including the NFL Draft, NFL Combine, and NFL Original content enjoyed their highest viewership figures to date. Prior to joining the NFL Network, Graciano was Vice President of Marketing and Communications at FOX Deportes. At FOX Deportes, Graciano re-branded the network and developed marketing programs resulting in FOX Deportes becoming the top rated U.S. Spanish sports cable network.  Graciano has also worked at ESPN International and in the National Basketball Association’s marketing partnerships group. Graciano earned an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business and a B.A. from Cornell University.
