Welcome our new Assistant LoL Coach: Jish!

We’ve talked about the importance of coaching and infrastructure for our League squad, especially with the 2017 Spring Split just days away.  With that in mind, we’re pleased to announce a new Assistant Coach to round out our existing staff.  Please give Joshua “Jish” Carr-Hummerston a warm welcome to the Immortals family!  We’re looking forward to working with him throughout Spring as we prepare for our second year of competition.

Jish has deep roots in League, and has been working as a coach since 2013.  He hails from Australia, and got his first big break working with the Oceanic team Dire Wolves.  He helped oversee the team and its operations as the scene transitioned from a wild west of third party tournaments to a unified scene under Riot supervision.  From there, he moved on to work with the OCE titan, the Chiefs Esports Club, as they competed in both the local scene and represented their region at international events as a Wildcard representative.  As the Chiefs traveled around the world and faced their greatest challenges, Jish was at their side. All good things must come to an end, and Jish left the Chiefs in November.  Immortals picked him up to round out our coaching stuff and give our players the individual attention that they deserve.  As we prepare for Spring, we’re glad to have Jish’s experience and skills at our disposal. Welcome aboard, Jish!

Catch Jish on Twitter or check out his amateur photography skills on Instagram, and of course, tune in for our first LCS match on January 21st against Echo Fox!
